Chris Hooper - Managing Partner
	Through his work with Praemon clients, Chris Hooper often serves as a primary member of their C-level management teams. When an entrepreneur with an idea approached, Chris teamed with him as CEO to build the company out of an untried concept, and succeeded. When Chris completed the business-based IT strategy for a 550 location consumer finance company, the COO asked him to serve as CIO to deploy the strategy, which he did. When two young internet technology entrepreneurs needed a well-networked, senior leader to build a company around their internet application, Chris served as their President.
Before founding Praemon Partners LLC to concentrate on building emerging companies, Chris led the Strategy Deployment Practice at Verity Partners LLC in Atlanta. He held positions before that as Partner in Deloitte Consulting, and Principal in Deloitte & Touche, where he led numerous vertical industry practices, such as consumer goods & retail, manufacturing, and hospitality, as well as various software vendor package implementation services practices. Chris is a former Director of Systems Development and Product Development Engineer for Armco Building Systems. Chris is accomplished in business strategy and business planning, management, growth initiatives, earnings improvement, and process engineering. His principal functional expertise is in the areas of supply/demand chain, customer relationship management, product development, IT enablement, performance management, and internet commerce. He has a long history of effectiveness in both advisory roles and key management positions. He is a patented inventor, published author, and entrepreneur. Among his clients are adidas America, Con Agra Foods, Cooper Industries, Dillards, Fieldcrest Cannon, The Gap, Georgia Pacific, Kmart, Levi Strauss & Co, Monsanto, Nike, Nordstrom, PacSun, Saks, Sara Lee, and VF Corporation. Selected Atlanta-area emerging business clients include: Associated Hygienic Products, AutoTrader.Com, Beck Graphic Solutions, CompWorx, El Banco de Nuestra Communidad, GoodWorks International, Imlay Investments, Infinite Video Corporation, Infolenz, Olodo. com, TitleMax, and Viewlocity, Inc. Chris led the team which designed the processes and created the functional design of what is now known as SAP AFS (Apparel Footwear Solution). He introduced the sponsoring company to SAP executives, which resulted in the development of an industry solution which is now in operation in every major footwear and apparel company in the world.
